Pigs produce more meat from lower amounts of feed than other livestock. They also give birth quite quickly (we can testify to this ourselves), with as many as 74 piglets in a year. Perhaps that would not be significant if not for the fact that they are also relatively resilient; they have one of the lowest mortality rates of any livestock. That is an almost 100% production-to-supply value, making pig farming a potentially fruitful endeavor.

Small and medium-sized livestock like pigs is a viable and profitable enterprise that can be quickly adopted and adapted by small-scale farmers like the locals in our communities. As such, we have worked hard over many months to ensure that our budding pig farm is well-structured and carefully maintained. As sales season quickly approaches, we look forward to seeing returns on our investments and continuing to grow our farm.
