The group of participants who are currently undergoing a two months training with us took a field visit on Thursday 22/03/2018 to Idanre to learn how to make black soaps (called Ose dudu in Yoruba) from cocoa pods. Cocoa pods are often seen as a waste in Imafon and Ilado communities. Through this training, this will now be used to make soaps.
We look forward to setting up a Soap Making Self Help Group with the trained participants. They can now use what they usually discard on their farms as a source of income.
