Isn’t it amazing that our children at the rural children learning space are going to be resuming back to school putting on sandals they made by themselves?
We realized that most of our children do not have good school sandals. So instead of buying shoes for them, we decided to teach them how to make their own low-cost school sandals. We are also currently looking at how to make shoe soles from tires.
It has been an amazing school break for our children. Thanks to Michael Akinfiloye our programs officer who has dedicated his time to teaching the children.
